Robert Volynsky is a founding partner of Weltz Kakos Gerbi Wolinetz Volynsky LLP (“Weltz Law”). His practice focuses on representing clients in all aspects of securities and commercial litigation, as well as claims unique to the financial services industry, including claims for fraud, churning, failure to supervise, unsuitability, and elder abuse.
Prior to forming Weltz Law, Mr. Volynsky worked for a boutique corporate and securities litigation firm where he primarily represented broker-dealers, brokers, private equity funds, public and private companies, and officers, directors and shareholders, in a wide array of commercial litigations, derivative suits, securities litigations and arbitrations, including FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) arbitrations, as well as regulatory investigations and enforcement proceedings. Mr. Volynsky also advised clients on various complex issues exclusive to the cannabis industry and has served as a panelist at numerous conferences related to this burgeoning area of law.
Mr. Volynsky is admitted to practice law in the States of New York, California, and New Jersey, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the Northern, Central, and Eastern Districts of California, and the District of New Jersey. Mr. Volynsky received his Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law and earned his B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
